Ultrasonography Of Bladder Done. Anything To Worry From Results?
hi, resently i did an ultrasonography of bladder and post void residue the examination of bladder was done on full and immediately after micturation. Urinary bladder was well distended with normal capacity. Total bladder capacity at the time of examination was 163 ccs. The bladder shows normal wall thickness without evidence trabeculations or mass lesion. Post void bladder shows insignificant residue (9 ccs) the conclusion was : post void bladder shows insignificant residue.. my question do i have to worry .. is there any problem
You have absolutely normal findings. Don't worry at all. Urinary bladder has normal findings. It doesn't have any trabeculations, mass lesion etc. Pre and post void residual volume is also normal. Post void residual volume measures 9 cc,it can be considered non significant.
