It is a condition where multiple eggs ( follicles ) are found within the ovarian tissue, and none of them fail to successfully mature or ovulate. it is associated with delayed, scanty and irregular periods alongwith conditions like acne, weight gain, hirsutism, impaired blood glucose levels etc. It affects the fertility, and patients need help of fertility treatments often in order to conceive.
