Ultrasound Showed Single Embryo, Unclear Cardiac Activity, Increase In CRL. Interpretation?
Hi, i did my second ultrasound today and the results are as follows. Single embryo is made out. CRL measures 12.8 mm. Cardiac activity not clearly visualized at the time of scan. Right ovary measures 25 x 11 mm and left ovary measures 22 x 22 mm. No free fluid noted in cul-de-sac. But the CRL measures 14.9 mm in my first ultrasound.
Hi, Thanks for writing to us. CRL is crown Rump length. In simple words, its length of the baby. Cardiac activity means your baby's heart beat. Now in your case cardiac activity is not clear and the CRL has reduced( growth restriction). Both of these findings in scan should be discussed with your obstetrician urgently in order to rule out any fetal compromise. Hope this helped. Take care
