Ultrasound Showed Uterine Polyp Which Fell Off Stopping The Red Spotting, Followed By Sciatica. Suggested Cervical Polyp. Explain
I had an ultrasound which showed a uterine polyp. I had a normal period and then the normal spotting afterwards which didn't stop. This past weekend I had a polyp fall out. It was about 1" in size. Since then the red blood stopped and it's just brown light spotting however I have had severe sciatica since the day it fell out. My question is according to my dr the polyp that fell out could not be my uterine polyp and said it was more likely a cervical polyp that the ultrasound couldn't see. Can it fall out? If not why has the bleeding almost stopped now? I have an appt for a hysterosonography next Monday. I also have a lining at cycle day 16 of 19mm. What is causing all this all of a sudden?

Dear u have not mentioned Ur age and since how long u have this problem apart from ultrasound done the doctor has to do trans veginal scan and biopsy by which a conclusion of hysterectomy can be planned to my kowledge either polyps of uterine or cervical are not harmful pls ask the Dr criteria of getting Ur uterus removed one more thing u can have repeated ultraspound scan done by which u can have confirmation
