Unable To Have Sex Due To Herpes Outbreak Since Years. No Relief With Valtrex
I was disognised several years ago that I had herpes.by a nerse practionerk, I had been married for 30 years, My husband was unable to have sex, and this was the first time this had happened. over the years I have had a few outbreaks but othins as serious as the first one. until now, I have had a terrible outbreak for about 3 weeks now, I am still taking Valtrex but nothing I do has helped. my doctor recently has become disabled and I don t know where to go or how to get some relief, pleast hel[ ,,I am 76 years old, I have never believed I have this and told them so, but they said they could lay dormant for severel years, I might add there was never any ;test made about this

How many years ago were you diagnosed with herpes. I agree at 76, Herpes should not put a dampner on things. Since when exactly does your husband not been able to have sex? Forgive me for asking straight up, but have you had other 'partners' in your sex life & can there be some more description please? Before you go ahead with any further treatment, please do a Herpes IgG & IgM blood test for herpes1&2. This will give you a titre & indicator if the infection is old or recent & we can take it from there.
