Unable To Have Sex Due To Unbearable Pain During Penetration, Unable To Insert Single Finger. Vaginimus?
I am 32 years Female. I have been married for 8 months and still havent consumated. I think i am suffering from vaginimus. I dont have any past history of medical illness. Have had lots of foreplay , I tried using lubricant and LOX 2% But still the pain is unbearable when a single finger is inserted and hence havent been able to have coitus till now. Pls advice.
Hi, Thanks for discussing your problem to us. As far as vaginismus is concerned, it is manageable in most cases with very good success rates. Before trying any method on your own, I suggest you should see a Gynecologist for a clinical examination. Doctor will inspect your private parts for any abnormality ( which is no doubt very rare) & if there is nothing wrong & vaginismus is the final diagnosis, the doctor will suggest you some treatment method like using graduated vaginal dilators. This treatment will take time but you will get relief. Take care.
Penetrative sex is supposed to be an intimate and pleasurable experience between willing sexual partners. Few women face problems in penile insertion due to the vaginal opening being small or going into severe spasm when attempting sex.
I understand you have tried many lubricants and foreplay. I would suggest that you get your vaginal opening examined by your doctor and they will slowly insert thin dilators and progressively increase their size very slowly. This can also be repeated at home. Please keep your mind free during sex and do not get any thoughts of stress. This will help you in early treatment.
Hope this helps.
