Under Treatment For Acid Reflux But Now Have Sore Spots In Stomach And Lower Back. Could This Be Ulcers?

Thank you Dr.
I have been in severe pain since last Wednesday. I am sore under the breast bone and the right side of my stomach. Currently I am taking medications for acid reflux. I have been off of the meds for a year as I did not have issues. Now I am worse off than ever. I am hurting in my lower back and in my stomach area on the right side. I have been taking Meloxicam 7.5 for a knee injury which I have stopped the meds thinking it may be causing the pain. I am taking two other meds currently for acid reflux. I hurt when I stand or walk on the right side. I am afraid I have bleeding uslers. I have not been to a Dr. Plleaes can you give me suggestions.

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it is due to the gasric irritation, may be due to the tablets you have used for the knee pain, or irritant foods, or peptic ulcer.
As you suspect it is not due to the bleeding ulcer, because it will have the nausea, and coffee colored vomitings, and black stools.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms omeprazole, domperidone, anaesthetic antacid gel.
Avoid taking spices, junk foods, and oily foods.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
