Undergone Surgery 10 Months Ago And Now Experiencing Back Pain
Hi. I had a laparoscopic supra-cervical hysterectomy 10 months ago and shortly afterwards started having low back pain almost like it starts in tail bone. have never had back pain ever. Standing in one place or sitting too long seems to aggravate the pain. I am not overweight and again have never dealt with back pain. It seems to radiate to both sides from the center and goes into hip bones. Is it possible this is still an effect of my surgery?
When such patient comes to my hospital we usually take x ray spine or if required MRI to see for any nerve compression. Medication like methylcobalamine and analgesic will reduce pain; you can take them consulting your treating doctor.
You may consult physiotherapist for further guidance. He may start TENS, or ultrasound which is helpful in your case.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
