Underwent Stemcell Transplant For Leukemia, Got Premature Overian Failure, Taking Hrt, No Period. Should I Go To Doctor?

Hi i am 29 year old women.underwent stemcell transplant on jan2012 for my luckemia.after this i got premature overian failure and my doctor suggest me to take hrt .so now i am taking ovral.for past 3 months i got my periods regularly.bt this month i didnt get my periods.last month also same thing happened.shall i start my next cysle tablets or i have to consult my doctor.please let me know the reason. Thanks

Thanks for the query.

While taking hormonal pills menstrual irregularities can occur like intermenstrual spotting, delayed periods, amenorrhea etc.
So possibly your amenorrhea could be a side effect of the pills.
You once consult your doctor and confirm the cause.
Then with his advice you can continue the same pills or you may have to choose little higher dose pills.
