Uneasiness In Stomach, Feeling Of Throwing Up After Eating. No Relief From Antibiotics. Any Suggestions?

hello sir
My wife feels some uneasiness in her stomach and feels like throwing up after eating a light meal morning, lunch and at dinner time. this all started suddenly, we first thought it was an infection and she went for a stool test to determine that and was given a mild antibiotic for a dose of about 2weeks, the situation bore no fruit it still insisted, visited the doctor again and she was given a stronger medication for a 5 days still it didn't work.
Whenever she eats she feels uncomfortable in her stomach and on occasion she throws if she can't resist that urge to and takes milk to reduce that urge of doing so. she was on a dosage 1week ago.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is unlikely that an infection would persist for this amount of time, it is also likely that it would be associated with other symptoms.

There are other potential causes of persistent nausea and vomiting such as :(1) GERD- gastroesophageal reflux disease
(2)intolerance to particular foods
(3)pregnancy
(4)side effect of medication
(5)metabolic or toxic causes for example high levels of calcium, alcohol, high urea levels
(6)related to obstruction of the bowel, liver disease , gall bladder disease

If it continues your wife may want to consider visiting her doctor for a re evaluation which may include blood tests.

I hope this helps
