Unprotected Sen, Nordette , Effectivity And Pregnancy

1. We had contact with my husband 5days ago without protection and i took 4 tablets of nordette 48 hours after intercourse and 4tablets after 12hours of first took. Does nordette is effective? After i took nordette i was noticed that i havé not discharge . 2. On that day of taking nordette, we had intercourse again. My husband is confident that i took nordette 100% safe. Is his assuming is correct that im not getting pregnant?

Nordette is used as emergency contraceptive. It contain higher doses of the same hormones found in regular combined oral contraceptive pills.

They are for use for up to 107 to 120 hours after unprotected sexual intercourse or contraceptive failure.

It has effectiveness of about 70 to 80%.

After taking these pills you will have your periods on the expected date. If you miss your period, i advice you after 7 days of missed period do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
