Unprotected Sex. Cramps In Abdomen, Heartburn, Fullness In Stomach. On Tri Sprintec. Is It Due To Hormonal Changes?

I've been on trisprintec for 4 years. My boyfriend and I didn't use a condom on the last day of my period, even though I'm on the pill, I took next choice one dose within 14 hours after unprotected sex...I've had extreme nausea, cramping in my lower abdomin, heartburn, and fullness in stomach, is this a result of too much hormones or am I pregnant?

Hello user,
If you had sex during or around menstrual phase of cycle, you will not get pregnant by any means, as there is no ova to fertilize the sperm during menses.

Also you were consuming pills since 4 years, and had recently once again taken a dose of emergency contraceptive pills, I think the complains you are getting is due to the hormones and not due to pregnancy !

If at all you are in doubt, you can still confirm the pregnancy by doing urine pregnancy test !

Hope my info helped you.
