Welcome to HCM. Painful burning urination indicates urinary tract infection. Also examine the local part for any cut, abrasions or redness. There might be some cut, abrasion during insertion of tampon. Go for urine test to rule out UTI and fbs,ppbs,HbA1c to rule out diabetes. Take proper local care, drink more water and other liquids. Antibiotic like cefixime, moxifloxacin will be helpful. Nsaid to subside pain, burning. Get examined by gynecologist to rule out any local condition and proper medical management.
