Urge To Urinate, Burning Pain In Urethra, Swelling In Vagina, Vaginal Dryness, Worse While Stressed
My symptoms started out feeling like a yeast infection, some of those symptoms are gone but have feeling that I need to urinate, burning pain in the urethra and very low stomach area with some swelling in the vaginal area and right above the urethra area. I have vaginal dryness but am leaking what I believe is urine. It has become worse with stress. The pain in the lower abdomen is burning and is worse with clothing.
Hello and welcome to HCM, The symptoms of frequent urination, dysuria and pain in lower abdomen suggest urinary tract infection. A urine examination is required - routine and microscopy to look for any evidence of infection. If any infectious agent is detected, a culture and drug sensitivity is required. Leakage of urine is called incontinence. Incontinence occurs in number of conditions - urinary tract infection being one of them. The urinary tract infection scan enter the genital tract and vice versa. So, the vaginal swelling can be due to UTI. The treatment of the infection will clear away the symptoms of frequency or dysuria.
