Urinary Tract Infection, Pneumonia. Blood Test Done. Non Responsive. Any Recommendations?
hi my name is c. j. and i have a question ihave a family friend that has a elderly women that has a UTI. and peunmonia and is hospitalize and is non responsive. she has had scan to check her for strokes and have ruled that out and the dr. at the hospital are puzzled as to why she non respnsive. i ve heard of elderly having infections that can cause simualer symptoms can that be the cause or not? They also did a blood gas and she did nt have any responses to the effects of how bad those hurt. just hoping you could shed some light as to this matter. thank you. c. j.
HI Thank for asking to HCM Detail clinical history would help very much if given here, UTI does not cure easily particularly in female patient, for that the only way is culture sensitivity test, and then treat the patient accordingly, Immune system has to be taken in to account, and needs test to rule out the possibility of this, take care of patient bye.
