Urinating Blood, Have Flu. Taking Spiriva, Levothyroxine And Advair. Why Is It Difficult To Urinate?
I've been needing to pee every hour tonight. The last time I turned the light on and was peeing blood red. I take Spiriva, Advair, and Levothyroxin daily. I had the flu or something a couple weeks ago. The antibiotics the doctor gave me made it difficult to pee, and I needed to pee every 15 minutes the whole week I took it.
Perhaps your urine has turned acidic, causing pain. I'd advise to do urine analysis to see if it is urinary infection or related to any stone. You should do an abdominal echo too.
Until the results are in, you should
- drink more water (avoid drinking after 6 p.m to prevent night emergency to pee).
- take magnesium and zinc citrate to stabilize the pH of the urine
- drink uva ursi tea
Hope it helped!
