Urine Analysis Shows Pus Cells, Urates And Phosphates, Mucus Threads. What Should Worry Me?
I have my U/A test result and it shows the following pus cells 4-7, epithelial cells moderate, am. urates/phosphates few, rbc/hpf 0-2, mucus thread few, bacteria moderate, T. Vaginalis = 0-1/hpf. I am more concerned about the T. Vaginalis result and its score I do not know what it means but I do know what T. Vaginalis is, I do not have this before and did not have other sexual partners aside from my husband for more than 2 years
Hi
These all labs are related to the infection by T. Vaginalis that is transmitted by sexual contact.
Its easy to treat T. Vaginalis. It can be treated by oral Metronidazole that is available as 400 mg tablet. Take 01 tablet thrice a day for 07 days. You will be free of that.
For urates and phosphates in the urine drink plenty of water to avoid formation of calculus in the urinary tract or kidneys. Have ultrasound of the renal if you have back pain.
I hope I am successful in solving your query if you have more you can ask me.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Azhar Sattar
