Use Of Ecosprin Gold Medicine? Incisional Hernia
hi what is use of ecosprin gold medicine my dad underwent aorta femoral bypass and develop a incisional hernia after a year, followed by surgery of hernia but it fails and ends into anastomosis of intestine . Now the hernia problem is still there. We have consult the good drs and you will surprised that pvt hospitals are saying go for the surgery while drs at AIMS are saying no for the same as the muscles are very weak. I want to ask, my dad is taking ecosprin gold 3 and cardace in medicine. Its almost three years. Is there any side effect. Is there any possibility of strengthning of hernia muscles by food or by some exercise. reagrds

Ecosprin gold contains aspirin, clopidogril( both are antiplatelet-- blood thinner) and atorvastatin ( cholesterol lowering drug).
These have been advised because your father already undergone bypass surgery and under risk of further cardiac or peripheral disease. these drugs are usually safe except risk of bleeding.
if repeatedly hernia is there i think can undergo MESS HERNIOPLASTY if large hernia or risk of srangulation is there., at this stage strenghtening is unlikely by exercise
