Used Nordette, Had Regular Periods. Changed Another Pill, Started Bleeding In Between. Suggestions?

Hello Dr. I used nordette since 2009 until late 2011 and my periods were normal. However in 2011 I was changed to another pill and started having in between bleedings. Late last year I saw a gynaecologist, changed my prevention pills and back to nordette the condition remained the same and in April this year I saw another gynaecologist who put me on Nur-isterate and I just went for my second injection in the end of May 2013 however the problem still continues. Please help me understand what I need to do to get better.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You should consult a gynaecologist and go for a blood test, hormonal test and ultrasonography to rule out the cause of bleeding. This bleeding is because of hormonal disturbances. I think you need proper dose of combined pills.
Good luck.
Take care.
