Using Lutera Tablet For Safe Sex. One Day Delay In Taking Tablet. Pregnancy?
Hello. I am on Lutera for a year now. Two days ago I took one pill 7 hours late, other than that have always been consistent. Always use a condom and tonight the condom broke. I am unsure if I need to take the morning after pill. I was on a steroid for 5 days in the beginning, not an antibiotic and I spoke to my pharmacist who said that wouldn't affect it..even asked why I use a condom but wanna be safe.

Lutera is combined OCP and failure rate is less than 1% on regular intake. If you are consistent with regular pill, then one pill 7 hrs late does not impact much. Here, chance of pregnancy is negligible and continue to take rest of the pills.
To be sure, you can undergo one home pregnancy test if you miss your next period. After that, you can consult with your doctor.

its not a big issue if you take the pill 7 hrs late as you say you are taking it regularly since 1 year.
its a good method to prevent unwanted pregnancy. chances of failure are less than 1%.
but still if you don't get your next menstruation on the date you can go for pregnancy test at home to confirm.

well 7 hours late will not effect much if other then this you were always consistent..i dont think you need emergency pill.. but if you want you can take it.. steroid wont affect it..
i will suggest you to wait for your periods ,if you dont get do home pregnancy test after week.. or go for more confirmatory test like beta hcg or utrasound.. continue you pill as it is..
