Using Tugain For Hair Loss. Is It Safe To Use Regularly?

I am 49 years old housewife, using Tugain Solution 5% from past 6 months. I am suffering from hair loss problem from past 8 years and i have use the Tugain Solution earlier also. Initially the results were fine but as i became little irregular in application, i feel it is not showing any effect on the hair growth. I would like to know that will i have to take this medication throughout my life or if i will regularly apply it then in how much time can i see good results?

From what I understand you are suffering from androgenetic alopecia. The US FDA approved treatment for the same is application of 2 percent minoxidil 1 ml twice in a day. Treatment has to be continued for 6 months at least to notice good response and once the response is achieved minoxidil has to e continued life long to maintain results. It is completely safe to use for prolonged periods. You can talk to your dermatologist about how to use it and other specifications.
