Usually Normal Cholesterol, Slightly Elevated This Time. While Having White Chocolate Cause Spike In Cholesterol?
I am a 68 year old female and my cholesterol has always been very good, under 200. At my physical recently, it had climbed to 112. I have mentally reviewed any changes in my strict eating habits, and realized that a few days before my blood test, I had eaten large quantities of milk chocolate -- could that have caused the spike in cholesterol?
Hi, at this age every thing is possible, even the starvation, or strict diet controle can cause rise in cholesterol, by lypolysis. If you are still in doubt you can have the test after few days and may be repeated periodically. Don't worry minor rise can be controlled by the drugs. thank you.
