Uterine Cancer Treated. M Spike Para Protein Found In Blood Work. Could Cancer Cell Enter Blood Stream During Surgery?

Had uterine cancer, stage 1, Grade 1. Made it 3 years. At least I thought so. No futher treatment was needed after surgery other than 3 month check ups. Should blood work have been done during my gyn/oncol visits? Only had vaginal smears done.
Now I have to see a hematologist because I had M spike para protein in blood work. 0.24. by my peronal care doctor. Could a cancer cell have entered my blood stream during the surgery? Thahk you for your time.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

There is not likely any like between your procedure and the present results.

Para protein is an abnormal protein found in the plasma aspect of the blood.
It can be associated with benign causes or multiple myeloma.
Multiple myeloma is a different cancer than uterine cancer.

I wish you the best
