Vaginal Inflammation, White Discharge, Infection. Using Clingen Vaginal Suppository. Treatment?
Hi in my routine gynaec checkup the doctor mentioned that I have some vaginal inflamation and suggested clingen vaginal suppository for 7 days. I have finished that course but I am still getting some white discharge . I want to know what type of infection can ti be...and what should I do? I am on IUD for last 8 years...is that the cause of this infection?
hi,
white discharge can of two types, physiological and pathological.
in case of physiological discharge you won't have altered color, odor, itching, associated lesions etc, where as in pathological discharge you can see those symptoms and quantity can also be more,
clingen cream helps in treating yeast infections, anaerobic infections etc,
IUD can predispose to pelvic infections, so to confirm the cure form infection you once get examined with your doctor, if persists you can go for swab culture and depending on that antibiotics can be used.
take care
