Suggest Treatment For Severe Vaginal Inflammation

I have severe vaginal inflammation burning and pain on the inside and out..I ve tried monostat...vagisil and it s getting worse.i have some leftover antibiotics...should I start them? Anything I can do right now to relieve the pain and burning and itching for now?

Hi,

If you have used monistat with intravaginal application for at least 3 days and you notice no improvement then chances are less this is a candida infection.

In this case, you will need to see your doctor to have a vaginal exam and rule out trichomonas, chlamydia and gonorrhea which are sexually transmitted infections and need proper evaluation and treatment.
