Vaginal Itching, Bumps Outside The Lips Near Anus, Not Sexually Active. Yeast Infection?
Hi , well my vagina started to itch about a week ago and I noticed I had really small bumps on the outside of the lips and near the anus . It s getting worse because now I noticed that it s ending and I m guessing from me scratching it . I m not sexually active so I doubt it s an STD , but I heard it could be a yeast infection ?
Hi Tatizapata,
Thanks for writing in to Healthcare Magic!
You are not sexually active means it is not an sexually transmitted infection.
It can be a bacterial/viral or fungal infection that has started de novo.
you should get examined by a gynecologist and get it sampled and also take treatment as per the nature of the lesions.
Mostly these diseases are curable and keeping the local area hygienic and dry helps to prevent recurrence.
If you have any further query please let me know I would try to answer it for you.
Wish you a great health!
