Vitamin D Supplements Haven't Abated Calf Muscle Pain. What Is The Next Recommended Option?

Hi Doctor
I have continuous pain in my calf muscles since i was 16 years old in both of my legs. i am currently 36 and i still feel the pain. it is mostly coming while i am sitting on a chair and i have to put a leg over the other or even while I am laying on the bed or watching TV. i performed a Vitamin D test and it was below the recommended. I took 1 Vitamin D injection 250,000 for 2 times then the pain disappeared about 85% for about 4 months. After 4 months, the pain has come back and continue to increase tell it reached its maxim now. I am seeking your support for any advises.

Thanks

hi there
i would suggest you get a x ray of your back
frankly i suspect you have lumbar spondylosis...
and get a cbc, just to rule out anemia

let us know the results. the treatment can be directed accordingly

best of luck
