Vomiting And Chest Congestion. Endoscopy Showed Gastritis But Medicines Have No Effect. Are The Findings Correct?
Its been year that im suffering i dont knw what it is exactly as i am confused between cough phelgm problem aur stomach . They took my endoscopy tests and told me its gastritis but after a course of medicines they said you are alright now. im avoiding rajma spinach cabbage choley caffeine products and i dont eat non veg by my choice.but i still suffer from problem. The problem is like when i eat something i start coughing and feel like something is stuck in my chest . And to get ridd of that my body tries to throw back all the food i confused which results in vomiting. I have lost 6-7 kgs in year ..
Hi Welcome to HCM, I would suggest you to go for Barium swallow and follow through investigation. Your symptoms suggest that problem could be in Oesophagus. You should also repeat your endoscopy every year. Sometimes you may need longer course of Medicines for gastritis. Your diet, and timings of food, and life style is also very important. If your age is above 40 years, you must keep on doing follow up investigations, and consultations, specially if you are loosing weight. Take care. Dr H Hamdani
