Walked A Lot. Heel Pains A Lot. Achilles Injury?

I went to las vegas last week and walked a lot. I primarily wore sling back sandals where the strap set against my heel. Ever since when I walk and wear shoes that sit against my heel I have been having a lot of pain. I don't really notice pain when working out but I just want to make sure I don't have any sort of achilles injury.

Dear
Welcome to HCM
I sincerely don't think that you have torn your Achilles tendon muscles.
The condition may be because of excessive walking.
This will go off after some days.
Symptoms of an Achilles tendon injury are:

1. Pain along the back of your foot and above your heel, especially when stretching your ankle or standing on your toes. In tendinitis, pain may be mild and worsen gradually. If you rupture the tendon, pain can be abrupt and severe.
2. Tenderness
3. Swelling
4. Stiffness
5. Hearing a snapping or popping noise during the injury
6. Difficulty flexing your foot or pointing your toes (in complete tears of the tendon).

Consult your GP if you have at least three symptoms from the ones mentioned above.
