Hello and welcome to HCM,
The symptoms of swelling, pain,
redness in the eye and black spots in the peripheral visual fields are of concern.
The
injury has caused some kind of bleeding of small blood vessels of the eye.
Swelling and tenderness are due to bleeding in the superficial tissue.
Black spots in the visual field are most probably due to some kind of bleeding in the vitreous humor. Vitreous humor is the gelatinous material present in the posterior chamber.
Any bleeding in this compartment causes defects in the visual field.
However, the exact location of the injury can only be determined by a clinical examination of the eye.
You need to visit an ophthalmologist.
The further management depends after determination of site of injury.
The swelling can be relieved by
cold compresses.
Thanks and take care.
