Was Prescribed Deviry For 6 Months For Pcos And Now Has Been Advised To Take Siphene 50mg For 5 Days. Not Sure If Deviry To Be Continued?
Hi iam santhiya.iam suffering pcos for past 1year.so for that my doctor had advised me to take deviry for 6months.as per doctors advice i had taken deviry for past 6month and now my doctor had advised me to take siphene 50mg for 5days from 2nd day of my period. And she told me to be in family from 14th to 18th jan and she didnt inform me that for January whether i can deviry or not? And this is my question whether i can take deviry for January
Hello Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Divery ( medroxy-progesterone ) was prescribed for pcos . In my opinion your treating doctor was right , as it was necessary to control pcos 's symptoms. Now sipene i.e. clomipene 50 mg is prescribed and this drug is indicated for ANOVULATORY INFERILITY for 5 days . This is menat for conception and in my opinion at present you should not take DIVERY because it is contraindicated in pregnancy. Hope this information will be helpful for you . Good luck. Dr. HET
