Watery Stools. Stool Test Indicating Starch Granules Present. Is That A Problem?

Hello! I recently did a stool test after having stomach troubles like passing on the stool several times a day. There was a variance in my stool i.e. sometimes watery, loose & semi-solid. The report indicated that starch granules are present but everything else is normal. What could be the problem & what do I need to do ahead?

Gastroenterologist 's  Response
Hi,

The only problem might be related to malabsorption. I would advise not to use foods that cause such problems, i.e. amidon-rich foods.

You can talk to your gastroenterologist or dietitian for further assistance.

Hope it helped with your help inquiry!
