We Suspect Hip Dislocation In 6.5 Y.o. Child. He Limps,
We suspect hip dislocation in 6.5 y.o. child. He limps, and cannot walk without it. No pain so far but some difference in the ability to move legs in different directions (left leg is more stiff when moved much to the sides). Should we go to chiropractor, or to orthopedic surgeon? What actions should we expect from the doctor? Does X-ray is a must? We would like to avoid it if possible. What other possible conditions/ diagnosis we should look for with these symptoms? Considering it is almost 5 pm now in our time zone, shall we go to emergency, or wait till morning to go in regular hours?
