Wearing Foley Catch Due To Uterine Fibroid Causing Kink In Urethra, Prescribed Oxybutynin. Is It Ideal ?

Since march of this year I have had to wear a foley cath due to multiple uterine fibroids which are causing a kink in my urehthra. I don't have insurance nor can I afford to take 6 weeks off. The cath is causing extreme pain so my dr prescribed oxybutynin. Is this the ideal medicine for my situation? Currently, I take antibiotic cipro, lisinipril, amlodipine. This situation has been challenging to say the least. I've considered the straight cath but I don't have the time at work. im too young for this:-(( is there a easier way to manage my busy life with less pain? I have decided not to eat meat with hormones. I've read reports where tumors have shrunk when changing diet. Thanks for your time

Hi, how long will you have follys in position, pain means friction, and that will be causing damage to the tissues, and promote infection.
I advise you to get the hysterectomy done so that you may lead a normal life. Thank you.
