Wednesday I had an an abscess removed from a root canal tooth ...he finished up the root canal then placed a bone graft, cleaned out bacteria and flushed it out, stitched it up..I was on amoxicillin 500 mg. I swelled up and have a hot face the son is pulling I'm on Amox clave 875-125 mg...since Friday I had to go to er for iv Friday nite...they gave meclindamycin IVPB 600 mg...I was better this morning...now the swelling has doubled and all around my eye and on face...I go tomorrow to have stitches out....what kind of antibiotic should I be on..I know sometimes it takes two...this dr. Says he doesn't give anything strong if a lesser one will work...I'm fed up...help me...
