Weight Gain, Decreased Libido, Fatigue By Taking Lexapro. Can I Substitute It With Wellbutrin?

Hello - I am trying to get off Lexapro because I don't feel I need it, and I experienced side effects including weight gain, decreased libido, and fatigue. I tried to get off last year by decreasing from 20mg to 17.5mg and got dizzy, irritable, and anxious. Any suggestions - what about substituting Wellbutrin while I wean off Lexapro?

Weight gain and decreased libido are rare ans less severe side effects of Lexapro

(escitalopram)

Dont panic ,you can slowly wean off the medication and switch to Wellbutrin

(bupropion) if the indication is depression.

You didnt mention your age.If you are less than 25 yrs old ,kindly dont use these

medication as it can worsen ur symptoms of depression
