Weight Loss And Quick Digestion. On Injection Placentax Extract For Oral Submucous Fibrosis. Medication Side Effects?
iam frin indore. iam 38. my problam is oral submicous fibrosis. since many years i have problam in full mouth opening. my ent suggest me injection placentax extract. eralier it was ban. my problam is when i take one injection every week i get side effect like my digestion get fast. and i loose fast weight. so what i do?
I understand this can be worrisome and a bit frustrating. However, It could be important to note that the drug being injected is a steroid, with side effects as those you describe. Adjustment of the doses and methods or calendar of administration of the drug is very possible, but happens on a case by case basis.
A proper clinical review and follow up by your doctor is imperative in this case. Based on response to treatment, other treatment do exist and I suggest you consult a heumatologist for his opinion. I propose you Concert with your family physician on modifying treatment and discuss seeing a rheumatologist. Thanks and kind regards as I wish you the best of health.
