Weird Pain, Chill, Behind Nose To Mouth, Pressures Eyes. What It Could Be?

Hi, im 21 and I sometimes have a weird pain, almost chill, behind my nose to mouth and pressures eyes and feels as if its in my head . It only happens when my nose is completely dry. It makes me have a wave of chills or a strange sensation through the rest of my body. when I get drainage from my nose its a indescribable nasty taste. have a doctor apt in 2 weeks and cant find any resources to similarities to other people suffering to bring up with my doctor. Thanks to any and all suggestions

I have gone through your query regarding weird pain behind nose to mouth, pressure on eyes.

Your symptoms are in favor of acute upper respiratory tract infection with sinusitis. The area of pain you have mentioned is of frontal and sphenoid sinuses. All these are usually the complication of common cold.

For confirmation of above possibility and treatment point of view you should do-

1- C.T.Scan of paranasal sinuses.

2- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.

3- Blood - CBC, ESR, blood sugar (F & PP).

By the inferences of above investigations and a thorough examination one may reach to correct diagnosis which may be accordingly manage.
