Well...here It Is: About A Year Ago I (male) Received

Well...here it is: About a year ago I (male) received brief unprotected oral from a female who was a very short acquaintance. I am married and apparently stupid. About a week ago I noticed some minor pain in my lower abdomen. It wasn't terrible...more of a nag. Later I felt like the pain was lower, not testicles per say, but very near. Considering my situation, I immediately recalled the earlier encounter and began scanning the internet for information regarding possible infections from such an exposure. Of course the internet only fueled my concern. I went to the doc and explained my symptoms. She ordered a urinalysis, CBC and something else...all showed no cause for concern. She also x-rayed for kidney stones which had a negative diagnosis. The fact that these showed nothing again made me more anxious. I have experienced a frequent need to urinate that comes and goes as well as continued, very minor epididymis pain. I submitted an STD screening today...and now the wait. This forum seems to lay it out like it is...can I go a year without symptoms only to develop epididymitis now?
