Went In To A New Primary Doctor Because Of Health

Went in to a new primary doctor because of health insurance issues and she would not prescribe me the Meds that I have been taking for years due to bipolar diagnosis. I didn't think I was anymore after almost 15 years of taking this medication and getting off cocaine and methamphetamine.
I found a psychiatrist close to me and she diagnosed me as still being bipolar and kept me on the Lamictal , wellabutrin 2x daily, increased my gabapentin (since I recently had spine surgery,) and added two doses of Zoloft plus Vyvance 1x d 70m Plus it allows Xanax.
I started having panic attacks and couldn't write, started chewing my tongue and twitching.
It made me feel like I was still on drugs!
After she would only reduce my dosage to 50 mg I started opening up the time the capsule and just taking a lick of it off my finger and it is much better. I do feel like this is not right though. I've been through six orthopedic surgeries this year including spine surgery and I have enough medications to deal with but no addicting medications But I do take a muscle relaxer as needed (only at night and I've had a 30 day supply for three months) but still need three more surgeries (knee replacement etc.) No pain Meds except Celebrex. Plus my blood pressure tends to be honey sometimes
This just doesn't seem right to me… In my room and should I seek a different psychiatrist and a therapist?
