We've Recently Got Back From A4 Day Holiday After Leaving

We've recently got back from a4 day holiday after leaving the dog with my sister. He's usually a very bouncy excitable 2year old jack Russell x chihuahua but since being home he doesn't follow us round or get excited to be honest all he does is sleep and isn't eating much either. Could there be a reasoning for this. Thank you
