Whar Causes Inablity To Walk After An Ankle Injury?

I tripped and fell on my left side and landed on my wallet. NO issues except bad bruise. Approximate 4 weeks later I start to notice slight changes in my walking with my left foot.I cannot move left ankle to wiggle my ankle area and toes. I have no pain and experieced no pain. I walk as if I have drop foot. Yet my muscles/nerves are not damaged. Is there something with my brain?
