What Amount Of Alcohol Use By A Patient Is A Minimum Criteria To Warrant The Prescription Of Naltrexone ?

I am 55 years old and a recovering alcoholic sober 25 years, I also have suffered from extreme ADDHD-RT I presently am attending college and working on my third honors paper, this one for Pharmacology, on Naltrexone. What amount of alcohol use by a patient would be a minimum criteria to warrant the prescription of naltrexone.

Welcome to healthcare Magic!
Naltrexone is not the right drug to be prescribed for alcohol deaddiction.
Psychotherapy and behavioral therapy should be done.
Positive movivation and rehab is needed.
Some help can be achieved by benzodiazepines and multivitamines in the initial period.
If you are in a bad company of alcoholic friends then chenge your circle or take an initiative to educate your friends against alcohol. They will either leave alcohol or will leave you.
