What Are Consistent Abdominal Pain, Swollen Groin And Pale Skin Suggestive Of?
HI I am a 42 year old woman who is experiencing pain in the left abdominal area, under the rib cage, sometimes sharp, often dull pain constantly. Also noticed ungenial groin area is slightly swollen. Loss of skin color (very pale) in the last 6 months. Weight loss of 15lbs in 3 weeks. Fatigue. Issues voiding or having a bowel movement. Any ideas....
Hi The symptoms you mentioned here may be associated with many ailments but a few things should be taken into account: 1. Pain abdomen, weight loss, irregular bowels along with fatigue may be associated with colitis or sprue, means bowel inflammation. 2. Swelling in groin along with pain may be associated with lymph node swelling which in turn may be aasociated with some infection in nearby area as well as abdomen. 3. Pallor may be a sign of anemia and it may also be associated with bowel issues or kidney issues. Therefore, I would suggest to have an ultrasound examination or CT scan of abdomen to rule out any abnormality. It is also suggested to have blood work done for complete blood count, Kidney function test, Liver function test apart from urine and stool test. Hope for recovery soon.
