What Are Cysts In The Left Ovary And Thick Uterine Lining Suggestive Of?

Having pains in my pelvic area radiates down my legs. My breasts are tender, headache and I have a slight fever. Fever started last night. I have been dealing w/ the pain for about a year now and have had a ultrasound done a few months ago. All they could tell me was that I have cysts on my left ovary and they could not see my right one. My lining of my uterus was thick. They didn t go into detail why? Just told me to see a Gyno.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to ovary cysts. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication for the pain such as Ibuprofen three times a day.

Birth control pills may be recommended keep ovarian cysts from recurring. You should consult your gynaecologist for further evaluation and treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
