General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi.

I've gone through your query. I can understand your anxiety.

Its normal to get ur periods delayed by 3-4 days. If it's more than a week, it might be due to many conditions like stress, low birth weight, obesity, PCOS etc.
I advice you to,
- Encourage normal activities & YOGA & stress freed exercises.
- Hot compress in abdomen & back
- Take nutritious diet
- Avoid food containing caffeine, alcohol
- Cap. Meftalspas 1-1-1 for cramps
- Take iron d calcium supplements
- watch for next cycle. If same problem persist consult your gynaecologist for further assistance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.

Regards,
Dr. Yogapriya V, General and family physician.
