What Are Discolored Lines Across The Upper Stomach Suggestive Of?
I have a light purple-ish horizontal line across my upper stomach. I looks to me like there may be some internal bleeding causing this - perhaps related to a pepsic problem, or gerd from before? Maybe it s sort of a bleeding, like an ulcer, at the top of my stomach where there is a muscle that allows food in, but not out?

Bleeding from a peptic ulcer would not present through the skin and GERD would not cause bleeding like this. There may be bruising of the superficial blood vessels in the skin.
