hi I am 24yrs old and got married 3 months back. I had been to a gynaec for regular check up and she advised me pelvic ultrasound with thyroid tests. free T3 is 2.7 free T4 is 0.96 TSH is 1.42 I was also diagnosed as a borderline case of PCOD. The doc prescribed me ebexid 1 tablet daily along with ovacare 2times a day and metformin 3 times a day for three months. Do i really need to take ebexid tablets. Pls help Thanking you in advance

Your ft3 anf ft4 are low with normal TSH.It points towards very subtle underactivity of thyroid.But one report is not enough to confirm or refute the diagnosis.You can use iodine/multivitamin tablet.
