General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
I think Oxygen saturation is normal when at rest but decreases while exerting level below is harmful for health.
I would suggest to check with red blood cell count; haemoglobin percentage (anemia may have such effect)/your respiratory system.
Lungs & airway health (difficulty in respiration due to any cause can give such problem)/hearthealth (check-up with a cardiologist).
Treatment of root cause would help you out.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
