1-what is the mitral stenosis effects on atria, ventricles, cardiac vessels? 2-what is the mitral regurgitation effects on ventricles, cardiac vessels, and pulmonary vein?

Hi.
Mitral Stenosis: mitral stenosis causes dilation of the right atria, it has no direct effect on the ventricles and the cardiac vessels. However due to dilation of atria it can lead to atrial fibrilation and this can result into reduced cardiac output and dilated cardiomyopathy.
Mitral regurgitation: Mitral regurgitation causes dilation of atria, dilation of the ventricles , reduced cardiac output and pulmonary hypertension. It has no direct effect on cardiac vessels but reduced cardiac output leads to reduced blood flow in the vessels
